A wine room has to do two things at once: hold bottles at a steady 12 to 14 degrees, and look like the best room in the house. We design the envelope with your climate engineer and build the display so the cooling disappears behind the joinery.
Bars follow the same logic. The back-bar carries the light, the counter carries the weight, and the brass is left bare so it darkens where hands rest.
